What the Fuck?!?

Ok, so I am sitting (more like standing) at work calmly eavesdropping on all of the conversations occurring around me. I took a particular interest in a conversation between two black, or as they seemed to prefer "Ghetto playa's", and I found it very interesting. One of the phrases the black man said to the black girl was "Come on nigga, i work here too why cant I go in your goddamn locker ta git your fucking' homework boo?" She responded with the utmost intellectual capability that she possesses "Don't you call me a nigga homes, yous da nigga, your mom's so ghetto that jinartgknba." (this last word was unrecognizable to the common man and the American system of English, so I have thusly determined that it is in a different language which I subtlety call "Ghetto dialect" or "Nigger talk".

Now I'm not a racist, but these are the people that create prejudices.
It's sad.

Not the brightest move there Michael. . .

As most of you may know, Michael Richards, popularized by his role of Kramer in the series Seinfield (probably mispelled, my apologies), became fed up with an African American man who was interupting his show. I have complaints about this proceeding clip however:
1) What Michael Richards is saying, isn't very funny at all

2) Sure, Mr. Richards addresses this surely intelligent African American by the term "nigger" but if this man is upset about that term and there's an uproar about it, why aren't people pissed about the Black guy calling Michael Richards, and I quote, "A Motherfuckin' Cracker-Ass". Hmmm, time for some deep thoughts.

3) I feel bad for the guy, he's very intelligent and hilarious, but he has no where to go, like a road block if you will, he had Seinfield and a few funny comedy tours but that's that. He's worth more and it's sad to see people rub it in his face that he hasn't gone anywhere in the past almost ten years.

What that African American did was uncalled for as well as it was uncalled for Michael Richards to freak out like that as well

Now watch. . . . .

Hopefully. . .

. . .my last post will yield many odd ads that sadly have to do with my blog posts. . .

Casino Royale

I was granted the privilege, earlier today, of seeing the newest Bond movie that has been released entitled "Casino Royale". I must say, Daniel Craig's role of playing James Bond did not go un-fulfilled; in fact, I may even say that I place him equal-to or above Sean Connery.

This movie was particularly thrilling, with the fact that Christian noted that Vesper Lynd (played by Eva Green) had boobies and also with all the action. However, instead of noting all the good aspects of the movie, which most critics don't do, ill follow along and note my complaints.

1) No Satellites or lasers: what the hell? How can you call a movie a James Bond movie if it doesn't have massive satellites or fucking lasers?

2) Not many Death-by-Railings: How can you call yourself an action movie with only two death-by-railings? I mean come on, Army of Darkness had seven in one scene, ONE SCENE.

3) Plot was meh: Not really any plot, really it was basically James has been promoted to a double agent and is learning the fact that he can trust no one and how easy it is to be double-crossed and double-crossed again.

However, setting aside these minor (except numbers 1 and 2) complaints, I must say this movie was superb. It defiantly ranks up there in the echelon of greatest bond movies ever. Of course, this is just my opinion and I'm sure most of you value my opinion (note the sarcasm). But none-the-less, I highly suggest paying the $8.25 to see this movie because I give it four and five-sevenths stars out of five. (Sorry, but the lack of satellites and lasers. . . )

FUNNY

Dell

Ok, I'll admit, Dell is probably the best company to buy a new computer from. Yet it pisses me off when I see how they completely rape your computer (through the exhaust fan. . . while it's on).

1) Software: They (along with every other computer company) puts so much un-needed shit on your computer's hard drive that it becomes ridiculous!
A possible solution is to give us those un-needed programs on CD and allow us to install them if we CHOOSE.

2) Set up: I don't know about all of you guys, but the way I see these Dells' 'innards' set up makes me feel chlostrophobic. It looks like there's no room for any modifications and that makes me want to huddle in a corner and weep for about 20 solid minutes.

3) THE NEW XPS'S ONLY ALLOW THE CONSUMER TO HAVE (at best) AN E6300!!!! WTF?!?!?! Let me toss at least a fucking E6600 into it! That is one thing that definatley DOES NOT warm the cockle of my cockle.

So why don't you go out and build your own computer now, hmm?

Rocko's Modern Life

This was one great TV show, why did Nickelodeon ever take it off the air?
Well here's the Intro:
Enjoy!

Nvidia = win?

Mayber you wanted an opinion on the G80? Well, now that we finally have some reliable benchmarks for Nvidia's G80, the numbers confirm what the specs suggested: it's pretty beast. I'm interested in seeing the G80's performance on a dual core vs. a quad core system, as early internet buzz has it that the G80 performs significantly better on quad core processors - certainly something to consider when buying a new computer.

For now, it looks like Nvidia has claimed the crown in the graphics card market, putting not only everything from ATI but all other Nvidia cards as well to shame. It looks as if it will remain that way for a while, with the only competitor being ATI's R600 model, which isn't due until February 2007 at the earliest, and probably then only in limited quantities. The question is, will the R600 be enough for ATI to take the lead? It may very well be more powerful than the G80, but I'm betting Nvidia has a refresh model of the G80 out by then.

Computer hardware just gets me so excited.

NVIDIA's G80

I was reading up on nVidia's newest release, the "G80" or GeForce 8800GTX/8800GTS and let me say this baby looks pretty intense. It takes up TWO expansion slots on a motherboard, has a massive fan (always a plus), requires TWO pci-e power pin connectors and also has TWO SLI connectors. These dual connectors means that you can have THREE, yes THREE G80's in your computer which will, may I say, own really really hard.

the G80 has 768MB of GDDR3 on board memory on a 384-bit memory bus with a core speed clocked at 575MHz and the memory at 900MHz.

Now for some tests. . .
Daily Tech tested the GeForce 8800GTX with
* Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700
* NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI based motherboard
* 2x1GB PC2-6400
* PowerColor ATI Radeon X1950 XTX
* Western Digital Raptor 150

The 3DMark06 gave the X1950XTX a score of 7026 whereas the G80 received a 11200
-That's 59% higher than AMD/ATI's best card on the market.

On Half Life 2 set at 4xAA/16xAF and a resolution of 1600x1200, the Radeon X1950 XTX received an FPS of 60.74 whereas the GeForce 8800GTX had an FPS of 116.93. NVIDIA's card runs 92% better than ATI's which is pretty hardcore.

But wait, it gets better:
On Quake 4 at 4xAA and a resolution of 1600x1200, the G80 once again out-performed the X1950XTX by 92% with an FPS of 65.93 as opposed to the X1950XTX's scrawny 34.23. Roflsauce!

But wait, there's more? (no, not the Nickelodeon magazine commercial which I WILL find and link to. . .)

On Prey at 4xAA/16xAF and at 1600x1200 the G80 was 60% better than the x1950XTXwith an 88.87 FPS as opposed to 55.53 FPS which ATI's card performs at.

The great thing is that the G80 doesn't just perform amazingly well, it also looks very sleak and stylish (not that it really matters, but nontheless it is a plus) and would look great in any case.

However, I find it interesting that NVIDIA would release this card now instead of waiting for Direct X10 because the smart consumer (which very few Americans are) would wait and buy the best card on the market when it is released (which will no doubt be the R600).

But nonetheless, NVIDIA does need to catch up with the competition (which is only ATI) and needed this release and hope - they have their fingers crossed - that many people will buy it.

Consindering the performance I've seen, I think nVidia's in for a few very profitable quarters.
